Neighborly Senior Placement is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including older adults and people with disabilities. Many of the families we serve are seniors, so accessible, easy-to-use information is central to who we are.
Our commitment
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of abilities, including vision, hearing, mobility, and cognitive differences.
What we do
- Use clear headings, readable text sizes, and strong color contrast.
- Provide descriptive alternative text for meaningful images.
- Label form fields so they work with screen readers.
- Make interactive elements usable with a keyboard.
- Offer a control to pause any moving content.
- Design pages to work across phones, tablets, and computers.
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We regularly review our website and work to improve the experience for all visitors. Some older content or third-party tools may not yet meet every standard, and we are working to address those areas.
