About Neighborly Senior Placement
Finding the right senior living for someone you love can feel overwhelming, and you shouldn’t have to do it alone.
Neighborly Senior Placement is a full-time, hyper-local team that personally guides San Francisco Bay Area families to the right community, with honest guidance and at no cost to you. We help you compare assisted living, memory care, independent living, residential care homes (board & care), and continuing-care retirement communities (CCRCs) across the Peninsula, San Francisco, the East Bay, and Marin. Unlike national referral lines, we’re local advocates who work for your family, never the communities, so our recommendations are always in your best interest. Our founder, Anita Varelas, has guided families for more than 20 years. She is a state-licensed care-facility administrator (RCFE), a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), and a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease & Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT).
